We ask you for it, because you know the business better than anyone. Rough notes are fine. We shape it to fit the page and you approve the result.
Yes. The domain, the hosting account and the site are all in your name. Stay on Web Care and we look after it, or run it yourself. Either way, no lock-in.
You do. The hosting account is in your own name, whichever host you choose. Already have one, or prefer a certain host? We build there. If you don't have one, we set you up with what we use, an Australian host, about $11 a month paid to them directly. If that setup goes through our link we may get a small commission, and it changes nothing about what you pay. We keep a full copy of your website, so if anything ever breaks we can rebuild it exactly as it was. If you ever leave, your site keeps running and the account is still yours.
Yes. Most businesses that come to us already have one. We build the new site fresh, around your business as it is now, and you see it before anything changes. Your domain stays yours, and the old site stays up until the new one takes its place. If the domain or email is tangled up with an old provider, the $99 Setup puts both cleanly in your name.
Setting up your domain and business email, in your name, connected to your site. The $99 is our work. The domain (about $20 a year) and email (about $10 a person a month) are billed by the providers, in your name.
We fix anything broken or not as agreed for 30 days after launch, free. After that, a one-off quote or the $89 a month Web Care plan for ongoing tweaks.
You see the site before it goes anywhere, and we shape it with you while we build, so changes happen before launch, not after. If you want to stop, you can. Your money is fully refundable right up until we start. Stop mid-build and you only pay for the work done to that point. There is no cancellation fee.
